Canada (Rocky Mountains) . 2016 . Apr 15 - 30

After checking in for our Alaska Airlines flight to Vancouver at Los Angeles Airport Terminal 6, we have around 4 hours to spare before the flight at 2000 hrs.

Priority Pass Lounge Access

This time round, we decided to use our DBS Altitude credit card to gain access to the Alaska Board Room at Los Angeles Airport under the Priority Pass membership that offers 2 complimentary Global Airport Lounge Access visits within each 12-month period.

As usual, just present your boarding pass together with your DBS Altitude credit card to the staff at the welcome counter. Once the staff verifies your card at the counter, its off to the lounge!

Small but Adequate Lounge

The lounge is actually quite small compared to the Skyview Lounge at Changi Airport. Nevertheless, it still provides a great resting area before our connecting night flight to Vancouver, especially after a long flight from Singapore to Los Angeles.

Limited Food and Beverages

The selection of food and beverage in the lounge is actually quite limited and not appetizing.

There is a small bar area that serves complimentary house beer, wine, and liquor.

Flight information is provided in the lounge area, ensuring you don't miss your flights. There are also newspapers and some magazines to keep you occupied in the lounge.

Great Air Side View

The only one plus point of this lounge is its great view of the runway and taxiway. This is definitely a treat for plane spotters.

Overall, the Alaska Board Room at Los Angeles Airport Terminal 6 is a good place to rest and plane spotting. However, its food and beverage selection can certainly be improved further.
