We decided to treat ourselves to our first decent dinner at Vancouver on our third day of our Canadian Rockies trip. Not wishing to venture too far out, we limited our options to the vicinity of our lodgings at YWCA Hotel Vancouver, and the most obvious choice was Frankie’s Italian Kitchen and Bar situated within Georgian Court Hotel, which was just next to YWCA Hotel Vancouver.
Note that Frankie’s has another outlet at Chilliwack and this review is based on the outlet at Georgian Court only.
Reservation at Frankie’s is required, although there were not many customers when we visited on a Sunday evening.
Loving the quiet ambience here. On certain days, there are also jazz performances at the bar section.
The dinner menu which is available on Frankie’s website. We were pleasantly surprised that food was not too expensive here at Frankie’s.
Our order of a Minestrone soup. Yummy.
My main course of a spaghetti carbonara, and Tommy’s choice of a Frankie’s Pizza. Both tasty and delectable.
Made some space in our stomachs for dessert, and ordered this tiramisu to share. It was a good choice, because the quality of taste was as good as their main course.
Nice ambience, good service, reasonable prices and delicious food. We will definitely visit again.
